On Wall Street, he managed a $10.2 billion investment fund, the second largest of its kind in the nation. His rare ability to identify value before others saw it, manage risk with surgical precision, and create consistent performance positioned him as a highly sought-after strategist.

His next chapter took him to Houston, where he co-founded Smith, Graham & Company Investment Advisors, a firm that grew under his leadership to over $2.5 billion in assets. As president and chief investment officer, he served some of the country’s most respected corporations, institutions, and municipalities.

Through every chapter of his career, one thing became clear:
